Neville Page (Gnomon Workshop) - Creative Character Design Techniques 2010
Instructor Bio: Neville Page was educated at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Although its main product was the design, he always gravitated towards entertainment. With the combination of his education and personal interests, Neville became involved in a variety of projects from design and sculpture at creature design and engineering. Its clients include Universal Studios, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Mattel, and BMW to name a few. He has worked on films such as Minority Report, Planet of the Apes, X-Men 2 and 3, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Superman Returns, James Cameron's Avatar, JJ Abrams Cloverfield JJ, Zack Snyder, The Watchmen, Louis Leterrier, The Hulk, Star Trek and JJ Abrams. Neville has also taught at the Art Center College of Design (Pasadena and Switzerland), Otis College, Gnomon Workshop and of the company.

Eat 3D - ZBrush Hard Surface Techniques 2
In this DVD, Instructor Mike Jensen is back by popular demand to demonstrate even more hard surface techniques using ZBrush 4 R2. Mike starts off giving an overview of all the techniques and basics that will be covered in the creation of a full armor set. He then starts concepting the character armor and then building out the main shapes for the final. Mike then begins to detail the final armor and brings it all to portfolio quality sculpt. Finally he talks a little about how to pose your model and bring it into 3d Studio Max to render with VRay and then compositing the final in Photoshop.

Description:
BEHIND THE SCENES (BTS) is a new and exciting DVD series developed to showcase the creation of a game cinematic sequence. The series follows a team of artists as they demonstrate their production techniques from concept phase to final rendered animation. In this chapter of the BTS series Ben Neall explores the many aspects of texture creation for the main character Geo. Some of these aspects include techniques such as UVing, Projecting, Texture Painting using 2D and 3D softwares, as well as overviews of shader and render setup. Ben also shows techniques to help the artist in the visual development stage, using compositing software to make real-time decisions. The viewer will also see actual production meetings in which the design and creation of the textures are discussed.

About CGMW
CG Master Workshops (CGMW) by CG Master Academy (CGMA) is an online community dedicated to helping artists develop and cultivate their creative talents. Filled with the best possible training around, our online demonstrations will help aspiring artists in their goals of becoming industry artists.
The workshops/classes are taught by the best in the industry; Individuals we like to call "Master's". These artists have years of experience and have worked for many of the major studios (including: Disney, Blizzard, DreamWorks, Pixar, Digital Domain, etc.) or renowned published artists, and are passionate about mentoring the next generation of artists. Our goal is to provide students with an environment that will help them retain the most from their education, in order to help them achieve their goals in becoming professional artists.
Instructor Nate Wragg
Nate Wragg was born in Davis, CA in 1983. He took an interest in drawing and painting at an early age. After graduating high school he studied animation and design at The California Institute of the Arts in Southern California. Since then, Wragg has gone on to work as an illustrator and designer on various projects-including Ratatouille, Toy Story 3 and the soon-to-be-released Puss and Boots. He was one of the primary character designers on the Pixar Feature Toy Story 3.
As well as designing characters, Nate was also the Production Designer of Pixar's short film Your Friend the Rat, and has been involved in designing several main title sequences, most notably the animated end titles for Ratatouille.
In addition to working in animation, Wragg has broken into the world of children's book publishing with his illustrations for Disney Publishing's Too Many Cooks. His work has been shown in various galleries in Los Angeles, as well as in the New York Society of Illustrators 50th Annual Showcase. Nate has recently begun teaching and lecturing abroad. He recently taught a week long workshop on animation design in India, as well as teaching design for animation in Denmark at the Animation Workshop. The artist currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Crystal.
